Remarks on “Science and Art”:
Art is often introspective while science is extrospective. You might say art is used to understand the consciousness while science is used to understand the external reality.



Professor Byoung–ho PARK (Pen name: Yeong–San, 瀛山) graduated from College of Law, Seoul National University for his LL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D in Law. He served as a professor at Seoul National University (College of Law) for thirty three years. He also served as Director, Central Library, Seoul National University, President, Korean Society of Legal History, and Visiting Professor, The Academy of Korean Studies. Professor PARK received many awards including Conferred the Order of Civil Merit of “Mugungwha” Medal in 2008 and Granted Honorary Doctor of Literature from The Academy of Korean Studies in 2011 for his outstanding achievements.

Currently, he is a Professor Emeritus of Seoul National University and a member of the National Academy of Science, Republic of Korea (大韓民國學術院會員)
